Overview:
We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Armed Security Officers to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in conflict management, law enforcement, or military service.
Duties:
- Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems
- Respond to incidents and emergencies in a timely manner
- Enforce company policies and procedures
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors
- Complete detailed incident reports
Skills:
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations effectively
- Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and practices
- Experience in military or security-related roles is a plus
- Proficient in surveillance techniques and the use of CCTV systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions
Must Have Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or Equivalent
-Current/valid Florida Driver’s License and an insurable driving history
-Reliable transportation
-Pass a drug screening
-Work nights, weekends, and some holidays
-Able to meet required certifications and/or licensing requirements for Armed Security Guard before end of probationary period. ( Class D & Class G License)
